March 13, 2018 – Highbourne Cay, Exumas

Chilling on the island today. I dropped off a load of laundry at the office, you can’t do it youself but for the $10 they charge, it’s worth it. It’s almost that much when you pay for the washer and dryer when you do it yourself.  Regardless, I was running out of undies?.

We went for a walk on the north western side of the island, walking partly through Da Village which is where the staff live. The housing looked really nice. We also came across the island power plant,  Zuma restaurant’s organic herb garden, chicken coop for eggs for the restaurant and a large number of goats in a pen.

We then went to the north western beach for walk. It’s a gorgeous beach, we didn’t see any other people but we saw footprints from earlier in the day.

Dinner at Zuma was excellent, as has been our experience. We had a table along the railing facing the west – sunset ???. We’ve seen many beautiful sunsets here but tonight’s was probably the most beautiful we’ve seen so far. The day ended with profiteroles for dessert – perfect.
